EXTRA CREDIT!
There have been a lot of questions about extra credit in GB. I think I found an easy way to "Accurately" calculate extra credit. Just create an assignment with "0" max points and a weight of "1". All points given seem to calculate as expected.
More importantly, I think it is probably obvious that we have tried to down play the use of extra credit. We decided to do this because extra credit does not say anything about what a student knows and can do. The amount of work a student completes does not tell us much about their competency.
Please share your views and/or the ways you have found to deal with extra credit in Gradebook.
